Andre and Colette Bertier enjoy a blissful marriage until Colette's playful best friend, Mitzi, enters the picture. Despite his attempts to fend off her flirtations, Andre finds himself unable to resist her charm. Meanwhile, Mitzi's husband, intent on divorcing her, has been spying on her. Caught in a compromising situation, Andre confesses to Colette, only to discover she has been grappling with her own temptation from another suitor. In a surprising turn, both spouses confront their infidelities, ultimately choosing to forgive each other and reaffirm their commitment.
