During the construction of a Moscow metro tunnel, workers stumble upon an ancient dungeon, prompting a site closure and a redirection of the project. Amidst the chaos, the foreman discreetly takes a valuable artifact—a book-sized frame inscribed in an unknown language. Years later, his grandson Ilya, a courier, uncovers the heirloom amidst discarded items. Unaware of its significance, he learns from a shadowy figure that it leads to the long-lost library of Ivan the Terrible. As Ilya and his new ally embark on their quest, they find themselves pursued by powerful forces intent on claiming the treasure for themselves.
