Carrie, Mitzie, and Chicago find themselves frequently in trouble at a women's prison but see a glimmer of hope with an early parole offer. They must participate in a study on human aggression and antisocial behavior conducted by Dr. Blalock at a Kansas City college. Unbeknownst to them, the professor is secretly receiving kickbacks from a dubious government agent to administer an experimental drug. This substance amplifies the very aggression Dr. Blalock aims to understand, leading the women to struggle with their behavior as they descend into chaos.
