Paul Gregory, a talented blind composer, relies on the seemingly devoted support of his wife, Anne. However, beneath the surface, Anne is entangled in a steamy affair with struggling artist Ricky. Eager to aid her lover and facilitate their rendezvous, she convinces Paul to hire Ricky for her portrait. As Paul begins to suspect their connection, he threatens to sever Anne's financial support. In a desperate bid to maintain both her relationship and her lifestyle, Anne devises a sinister plan and enlists Ricky to execute the perfect murder.
