In 1999, Seattle becomes the epicenter of mass protests as thousands of activists converge to oppose the WTO Ministerial Conference. Initially intended as a peaceful demonstration aimed at halting the WTO discussions, tensions quickly rise, leading to chaotic confrontations. What starts as a call for change spirals into widespread unrest, resulting in a State of Emergency declared by authorities. The clashes between demonstrators, Seattle's police force, and the National Guard highlight the intense struggle over globalization and its impact on communities.
