The Missing Mouse (1953)

Just after a bottle of white shoe polish spills all over Jerry, Tom picks up a news bulletin on the radio about a white mouse that has ingested an explosive and has escaped from a research lab. The report warns that even the smallest jolt could trigger an explosion powerful enough to destroy the entire city. That's when Tom spots the now-white Jerry and jumps to the conclusion that he’s the dangerous mouse on the loose.
