This unique venture embraced Esperanto as its official language, attracting tourists and attention. However, Italian authorities swiftly opposed the creation, viewing it as a clever scheme to evade taxes on the profits generated by the influx of visitors. Rosa's audacious dream of independence clashed with governmental interests, igniting a conflict that highlighted the tensions between personal ambition and state control.
