On the picturesque island of Curaçao, Little League baseball is a revered tradition, fiercely championed by Manager Vernon Isabella, who has led his All-Stars to the World Series for seven straight years. As the summer of 2008 unfolds, the team encounters daunting obstacles that threaten their eighth title run. Battling injuries and internal conflicts, they must also face off against a more developed Puerto Rican squad, some of whom sport mustaches. The boys are determined to rise above these challenges and make their manager and nation proud.
