Cletus, known as The Bandit, is lured out of retirement by the Enos duo to assist with their new restaurant venture. Reluctantly, he dusts off his trusty but aging vehicle, Trigger, to join the fun. However, their plans are quickly derailed when Sheriff Buford T. Justice, eager to settle old scores, tracks them down. With the law hot on their heels, Cletus and Trigger must navigate a series of misadventures to evade the relentless sheriff. Will they manage to stay one step ahead and make their restaurant a success?
