Maria do Socorro Nobre, a prisoner serving over twenty-one years in a Salvador, Bahia women's facility, stumbles upon an article about Polish artist Franz Krajcberg in Veja magazine. Inspired, she reaches out to him through a heartfelt letter. Franz, a Holocaust survivor who lost his family and spent his childhood in a Polish ghetto, has found solace in Brazil, reconnecting with nature and reigniting his passion for life. Their correspondence becomes a poignant exchange, helping Socorro rediscover hope and dreams amidst her confinement.
