The Malacici family, fresh off the boat from Florence, launches an upscale restaurant in the Bronx, igniting rivalry with local Sicilian caterers, Mike and Sadie Capomezzo. Tensions rise as the two families clash over their culinary ambitions. However, love blossoms unexpectedly when Gina Malacici and Rosario Capomezzo, the children of these feuding families, become romantically involved.
