In "The Return of Doctor X," journalist Walter Garrett heads to the hotel suite of glamorous actress Angela Merrova for an interview, only to discover her lifeless body, brutally stabbed. When he brings the police back, they find the room deserted and the corpse missing. After reporting on the shocking event, Garrett faces dismissal when Merrova unexpectedly reappears, unharmed, to voice her grievances. Determined to reclaim his position, Garrett embarks on a perilous quest for the truth, uncovering a sinister plot orchestrated by a deranged individual.
