Set in the quaint town of Rockwell, Maine, during October 1957, "The Iron Giant" tells the story of a massive metal creature that forms a bond with a young boy named Hogarth. As their friendship develops, the Iron Giant discovers its own humanity, ultimately rising to the occasion to protect the townspeople from their own fears and biases. Through acts of bravery and selflessness, the giant demonstrates the importance of compassion and understanding in a world filled with misunderstanding.
