In 1890 France, inventor Louis Le Prince disappears mysteriously after creating a groundbreaking device that would eventually inspire the Lumière Brothers' Cinematographer. Centuries later, filmmaker Luigi Cozzi discovers a peculiar book, "The Roaming Universe," in his friend Dario Argento's horror museum. This science-fiction tale, reportedly born from a modern spiritual session in Rome, hints at connections to the Lumière Brothers' refusal to lend their camera to Georges Méliès for "A Trip to the Moon." As Cozzi delves deeper, he confronts the tantalizing possibility of parallel universes and the dark secrets surrounding Le Prince’s fate.
