Fifteen-year-old Ellis Whitman navigates life with a self-involved New Age mother and an absent father, finding solace in the eccentric guidance of ‘Goat Man,’ a goat-trekking, marijuana-cultivating mentor. As he embarks on a journey to a prestigious East Coast prep school, Ellis faces a world starkly different from his laid-back desert upbringing. The transition challenges his ideals and forces him to confront his identity amid the pressures of conformity and the expectations of his new environment.
