Feudal lord Itakura Katsuakira seeks to ready his samurai for the inevitable wave of modernization by organizing a marathon for his troops. Unbeknownst to him, his spirited daughter Yuki decides to defy convention and secretly enters the race herself. As the event unfolds, Yuki’s determination and the samurai's traditional values collide, highlighting the struggle between old-world honor and the demands of a changing era. The marathon becomes a battleground not only for physical endurance but also for personal and cultural identity.
