In "At Long Last Love," four affluent individuals' lives intertwine in unexpected ways. Heiress Brooke Carter encounters charming gambler Johnny Spanish at the racetrack, while playboy Michael O. Pritchard has a near-miss with stage star Kitty O'Kelly in his car. Backstage at one of Kitty's performances, it is revealed that she and Brooke share a long-standing friendship from their school days. The four of them embark on a lively escapade around town, joined by Brooke's friend Elizabeth, who becomes infatuated with Michael's devoted butler and chauffeur, Rodney James.
