In the arid town of Chaparosa, Texas, Long Bill Longley and his loyal companion Tom Merwin are experts at conquering the rugged landscape. Their latest challenge is to thwart the nefarious Calliope Catesby, who threatens to bring chaos to their community. Simultaneously, in Oakdale, Wanda Gilmore has emerged as an unexpected hero, but her reputation is jeopardized by a cunning TV reporter aiming to depict her as a tyrant.
