Chewin' the Fat (1999)

Chewin' the Fat, a beloved Scottish comedy sketch show, features the talents of Ford Kiernan, Greg Hemphill, and Karen Dunbar, alongside regulars Paul Riley and Mark Cox. Originating as a radio series on BBC Radio Scotland, it transitioned to television, airing four successful seasons on BBC One Scotland. The latter two seasons and highlights reached a wider UK audience. Although it concluded in February 2002, six annual Hogmanay specials were released on DVD with the Scottish Sun. The series inspired the popular spin-off, Still Game, centered on the characters Jack and Victor, and was primarily filmed in Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire.
