During her Veterans Day address, Sally Sheridan, the first female President of the United States, is tragically shot by a sniper. The culprit barely manages to evade capture, with national security pursuing him closely. Three months later, an elderly couple stumbles upon a wounded man hanging from a tree, equipped with a parachute. Strikingly, the young man has no recollection of who he is or how he ended up there.
