Frank, an ordinary man with no criminal history, shocks everyone by robbing a money transporter and promptly turning himself in. Behind bars, he befriends the cunning Fuad, an Arab inmate shielded by his clan. To gain Fuad's trust, Frank gets involved in the prison’s drug trade, becoming entangled in a violent rivalry between German and Arab factions. The only genuine connection he forms is with prison guard Susanna, unaware of her ties to Fuad and their affair. As Frank grapples with loss—his wife and daughter killed by Fuad in a hit-and-run—his quest for vengeance intensifies.
