Based on real historical events, this film unfolds in 1990s Rwanda during a devastating genocide where over a million Tutsis were brutally murdered, largely ignored by the global community. Paul Rusesabagina, the manager of a hotel, takes extraordinary measures to protect more than a thousand refugees by providing them shelter within his establishment, striving to keep them safe amidst the chaos and violence surrounding them.
