Carpenter Pepe El Toro enjoys a modest life in a struggling neighborhood of Mexico City with his beloved daughter, Chachita. As he navigates the ups and downs of fatherhood, he also finds himself drawn to the charming Celia. However, their happiness is shattered when Pepe faces a wrongful accusation of a serious crime, turning his life upside down and threatening his future with Chachita and Celia. Amidst the turmoil, he must fight for his innocence and the stability of his family in a world filled with hardship and injustice.
