Akinori Kimura, played by Sadao Abe, and his wife Mieko (Miho Kanno) embark on a journey to cultivate an apple orchard in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture. Faced with Mieko's pesticide allergy, Akinori must grow apples organically, leading to significant struggles and financial strain for their family. As the challenges mount, Akinori reaches a breaking point, contemplating suicide. Just when hope seems lost, a miraculous turn of events reshapes their fate, highlighting resilience in the face of adversity and the power of determination.
