Alice and Darlene, fresh out of high school, embark on an adventure to Thailand, where they encounter a charming Australian named Nick Parks. Darlene quickly develops a crush on him, persuading Alice to join Nick on a spontaneous day trip to Hong Kong. Their excitement turns to terror when, at the airport, authorities apprehend them, revealing that one of their bags is filled with heroin. The friends find themselves ensnared in a harrowing legal nightmare, testing the limits of their friendship and resilience in a foreign land.
