In 1940 Orense, Spain, shortly after the Civil War's conclusion, Elena and her children guard a dangerous secret within their home. As the regime hunts down those who lost the brutal conflict, the family must navigate the constant threat of discovery, living in fear yet holding on to hope amid a climate of oppression and peril.
