Kizito, a strict and self-righteous preacher, is sent on a month-long mission to the lawless ghetto of Mboko to prove his worthiness for ordination. There, he finds unexpected support from Bisona, a notorious prostitute who offers him shelter throughout his assignment. This unlikely pairing fosters an unusual bond that blossoms into love. As Kizito navigates the challenges of Mboko, he realizes that the community holds deeper significance for him than merely a test of faith, changing his perspective on life and redemption.
