One of their Own (S01E03)

In June 2001, the remains of Navy Petty Officer Lea Anne Brown and her friend Michael Patten, who worked at a bank, were discovered in a wooded area along a remote road in Accokeek, Maryland. Both had suffered two gunshot wounds to the head. It seemed clear they were targeted victims, but the question lingered: why? Neither had ties to any criminal behavior, nor did they possess any apparent reasons for being singled out in such a brutal act.
