After Cal's body is found, tensions rise as his friends—Rob, James, Tina, Janine, and Annie—are interrogated by the police regarding the events of the murder night. To lift everyone's spirits, Rob organizes a surprise for James's birthday, but James is far from festive; he’s focused on uncovering a hidden truth related to Cal’s death. At the same time, Ruth is tasked with identifying the source of the ketamine that the group used, leading her closer to the core of the investigation.
