From the Stones to the Stars (S03E01)

Andrew and Giorgio embark on a journey along Italy's stunning eastern coastline, beginning in the instep of the country within the Basilicata region. Their adventure leads them to the remarkable town of Matera, renowned for its ancient caves, known as Sassi, which have been inhabited since the Palaeolithic era and are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In this unique setting, Giorgio prepares a traditional peasant dish called mutton 'pignata' inside a beautifully restored cave, immersing them in the rich culinary heritage of the area.
