The Philippines (S02E05)

In this episode, Ed finds himself on Coron Island in the Philippines, where he's striving to survive on a remote beach. The shoreline is littered with debris, serving as both a potential resource for his survival and a somber reminder of ocean pollution. Having faced isolation before on Naked and Marooned, Ed confronts his past as he falls seriously ill. Confined to a makeshift bed of palm fronds, he understands that he must quickly seek out food and water or risk failing his survival challenge. With towering granite cliffs surrounding him, he worries about the scarcity of fresh water.
