Landscape contractor Roger Cook lays down sod in the backyard, while host Kevin O’Connor meets with engineered stone distributor Chelsie Arnold to explore the new quartz and resin countertops being fitted in the kitchen. Plumbing and heating specialist Richard Trethewey introduces Kevin to a state-of-the-art air conditioning system. Kevin collaborates with general contractor Tom Silva to create new wainscoting for the kitchen. Painting contractor Jim Clark demonstrates how to clean the oak woodwork in the front hall using TSP and some effort. In the upstairs hall, damaged wood is stripped and re-stained. The episode concludes with the heartbreaking news of the passing of tile contractor Joe Ferrante.
