The Box Kite Kaper (S01E08)

Ludicrous Lion announces a kite-flying competition on Living Island, with a prize of 100 gold buttons for the highest flier. Excited to join, Jimmy and Freddy inspire Pufnstuf to create a massive box kite for them. Dr. Blinkey lends a hand, using his instant-glue magic to piece it together, even sticking Cling and Clang in the process. Meanwhile, Witchiepoo, disguised as a Campfire Granny, tries to trick them with candy laced with knockout drops. Luckily, Freddy and Cling avoid her trap and alert everyone to rebuild the kite after it’s destroyed. Just as Jimmy and Freddy take off, Witchiepoo and her crew zoom by on a vroom-broom, ruining the kite once more. Although they land safely, the West Wind starts to blow ominously.
