Going Native (S04E17)

An alien arrives on Earth to observe human nature and behavior. Shaped like an ordinary woman, she closely examines urban still life photographs, feeling a mix of fascination and repulsion at the chaos and decay they reveal. To deepen her understanding of humans, she joins a support group, where she forms connections with the other members. Through these interactions, she starts to grasp the complexities of human emotions from her unique perspective. However, the group perceives her as aloof and detached, mistaking it for self-denial. During one meeting, she suddenly realizes she shares the same feelings as those she’s been studying, realizing she has unwittingly absorbed their emotional struggles.
