In the ongoing probe into the "Iraq War Syndrome," David investigates a potential failure in the water purification system. Meanwhile, in Mexico, Jill and Carlos link a hybrid plant engineered to locate land mines with the outbreak of hemophilia. When this theory doesn’t hold up, David travels to Mexico to examine the idea that genetically modified mosquitoes intended to combat malaria could be at fault. Bob decides to leave NorBAC to chase his passion for perfume making. Additionally, Caroline finally receives the long-awaited diagnosis she has been anticipating.
