Cpls. Ednar and Anderson accidentally venture into Iraqi territory. In a bid to evade capture by an Iraqi patrol, Cpl. Ednar is tragically killed, while Cpl. Anderson is captured and imprisoned. The Iraqi government extends an invitation to the United States to send representatives to defend the Marine, who is facing a death sentence for espionage. Harm and Meg are tasked with heading to Iraq to serve as his legal counsel and work to secure the Corporal’s release, enlisting the aid of an undercover operative known as 'Scimitar'.
