Chinese Whispers (S04E03)

The Chen family seems to be targeted by racial intolerance when their Chinese restaurant is set ablaze. However, Mr. Chen, who is a widower, refuses to involve the authorities, prompting his daughter Mei to seek assistance from Henry. As the investigation unfolds, it is revealed that Mr. Chen is a gambler, heavily in debt to a restaurant owner in Chinatown who has been threatening him over the outstanding amount. When Pie in the Sky reaches the finals of the Great British Grub competition in London, Henry seizes the opportunity to visit Chinatown and mediate. By the end of the day, both a winner and a loser return to Middleton.
