Meanwhile, recent graduate Esme Telfer tackles her initial emergency caesarean at the Skeldale clinic. At Green's farm, Treacle the calf falls seriously ill, leaving her fate uncertain. To top it all off, a lively group of bloodhound puppies brings mayhem to the surgery, adding to the night's challenges.
