West meets Gordon in New Orleans, where Gordon has arrived with a renowned Italian diva, the ambassador's niece, who has been encouraged to join him by President Grant. West agrees to act as the diva's guardian for her opera performance that night. However, the show takes an unexpected turn when would-be kidnappers interrupt, prompting West to leap into action. With several divas having mysteriously vanished in the city, the agents must quickly piece together the conspiracy tied to the secret Order of Lucia and uncover the true identities of those involved, both onstage and off.
