Title: Reduce Reuse Recycle Week Plot: In a bid to tackle the environmental impact of fashion, The Great British Sewing Bee returns for Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Week. This time, the usual selection of fabrics is swapped out for garments and textiles sourced from charity shops. Host Joe Lycett sets the stage as the six remaining contestants begin by crafting a gentleman's waistcoat from second-hand materials. In the Transformation Challenge, they must reinvent army surplus items into fashionable attire for women. Lastly, the sewers are challenged to fashion a perfectly fitting dress from old jeans, notorious for their environmental toll. At the conclusion, one will earn Garment of the Week, while another will be eliminated from the competition.
