Title: Thunder from the North Plot: Marsh and Lawson, two unscrupulous Army storekeepers, have been swindling nearby Native American tribes with subpar merchandise. When a brave tribeswoman, Pale Moon, threatens to expose their deceit to the Army Commission, the duo plots to provoke a conflict. They realize that war will prevent any investigation into her allegations. To execute their plan, they kill Pale Moon’s brother and frame Beau Maverick, a stranger who had just won $2,500 from them, for the crime. Tensions rise as their scheme unfolds, threatening peace in the region.
