Hiving the Bees (S01E05)

Onion teams up with newcomer John Cook to get ready for John Brown and his troops in Harper's Ferry. However, Onion finds it challenging to enlist more African-American soldiers as Cook’s impulsive actions risk drawing the attention of curious locals. After a few weeks of anticipation, Brown, along with his army and daughter Annie, finally shows up, adding an unexpected twist for Onion: the onset of romance.
