Initially reluctant to accept her new power, she soon encounters Jean Grey and a mischievous mutant who claim to understand her situation and offer their assistance. As Kitty grapples with her abilities, trouble brews when Sabertooth, Wolverine's long-time adversary, makes his way into town, intensifying the chaos.
