Danny and Ed prepare for an important review with JLW, the pharmaceutical company backing their Endangered Species Project. Meanwhile, Ed and Rosie stumble upon two deceased wildebeest calves, prompting Ed to ask Rosie to conduct a post-mortem examination. Fatani feels exasperated as Liv insists they must keep their relationship under wraps. The review turns out to be a triumph, securing continued funding from JLW, who even propose a PR event to present the next cheque. However, Ed is upset upon discovering a significant error in Rosie’s post-mortem. Fiona Lynch arrives, revealing she's Ed's estranged wife. He clarifies that their separation was due to her infidelity. Fiona grows suspicious that Ed might be involved with Rosie and confides her concerns to Caroline.
