Fortunately, the sergeants exam includes a question on auto theft techniques, which might provide a silver lining. The episode also introduces Hector, known as El Vengeador. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Cagney's rival, Mansfield, orchestrated Hector's murder due to his involvement as a drug informant, connecting back to the earlier episode titled "The Man Who Shot Trotsky."
