Title: The Good Samaritan Plot: Hoss takes it upon himself to assist Wade Tyree, introducing him to Abigail and her daughter, Bonnie, in hopes of curbing Wade's drinking habits. Wade eventually marries Abigail, but when challenges arise, he succumbs to alcohol once more. To support the new family, Hoss helps them with farming, but when rain fails to arrive, he teaches them about irrigation. During this process, Abigail faints while tending to the crops. Wade comes to terms with his shortcomings as a husband and father, and when Abigail reveals she’s expecting again, both she and Bonnie forgive him, marking the beginning of a fresh start for their family.
