Bodie notices a slowdown in his corner’s activity and decides to challenge a rival runner. Meanwhile, Marlo believes he’s cracked a problem that had stumped Stringer. Freamon, Greggs, and Sydnor approach Pearlman, hoping she will issue subpoenas to City Hall. As the mayoral race intensifies, both Mayor Royce and his opponent, Tommy Carcetti, hit the campaign trail. Prez starts gearing up for his new role in academia, while McNulty opts to decline a promotion.
