Voices (S01E05)

Draven’s visit to the carnival with Sarah stirs up bittersweet memories of his early days with Shelly. While exploring the fair, they encounter a troubled teenage trance-medium named Jesse, whose handlers assert he can communicate with spirits. Jesse, a vulnerable and exploited young man, truly possesses this gift and connects with Shelly, delivering a message to Draven: he must "set things right" to have a chance at being with her again. However, their brief connection leaves Draven yearning for more. Unbeknownst to Jesse, his manipulative handler, Doc, is using him to identify potential robbery targets in the crowd. When one such robbery turns deadly, Detective Albrecht begins to investigate Jesse, who may have foreseen the murder.
