Title: The Raid Plot: As the monsoon season descends, Pop returns to the States to attend his son’s funeral, only to face accusations from his wife blaming him for the tragedy. Meanwhile, Goldman grapples with the impact of Beller’s suicide, seeing his former friend as yet another casualty of the war. Brewster recruits Goldman for a volunteer operation aimed at rescuing MIA/POWs. A fragile ex-POW joins the effort to strategize the mission. Meanwhile, Doc is isolated on base and seeks out Goldman, pleading to join the rescue but is turned away. Ultimately, the mission spirals into chaos; the POWs have been relocated, leaving Griner blinded, Pop and McKay injured and sent to a hospital in Japan, while Brewster ends up hospitalized at China Beach.
