Meanwhile, Billy and Danny choose to support a teenager who is operating an unlicensed clinic for those in need. Judge Aldrich steps down from his judicial role and joins the hospital as Alan's successor. Camille's ongoing struggle with substance-seeking behavior persists, and Diane begins to doubt her research project when she realizes she has grown emotionally attached to the orangutan she has infected with AIDS.
